Hand held Search Light
The
Megaray® MR175 portable ultra high intensity searchlight, is designed for exceptionally long range illumination - utilizing 11 million candela to paint targets at distances of over 2 miles (3.5 km).
The
Megaray® MR175 unit is built from exceptionally strong glass-filled nylon, to battlefield standards. Its pistol shape is easy to hold and is ergonomically designed to feel familiar to most operators, providing an intuitive user experience. An attached shoulder sling makes for comfortable and easy carrying of the unit and its battery pack.
The
Megaray® MR175 is compact, water resistant and weighs only 8.5 lbs (3.9 kg), making it very lightweight for such a high performance searchlight. The unit’s zoom feature allows manual beam focus between 2° and 6°, while a clip-on filter spreads this beam to an impressive 74°.
The
Megaray® MR175 can be mounted on a standard photographic tripod, along with an array of platforms, making it a very versatile tool for use in many applications. Two optional infra red filters of 850nm and 900nm extend the MR175 unit’s use to covert military and law-enforcement operations.

A three mode switch changes beam settings between bright, low and strobe, and the single, lightweight Lithium Battery lasts 100 minutes of continuous bright use, and 120 minutes on low or strobe.
